Dr. Hakan Usal is an internationally recognized plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is dedicated to providing the safest, most advanced, and effective cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Usal has privileges at many local hospitals, including Good Samaritan Hospital, Staten Island Hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center, Valley Hospital, and Chilton Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Usal receives patients in three locations - one in New York, one in New Jersey and one international location in Istanbul, Turkey where he performs plastic surgery together with Dr. Teoman Dal.

Dr. Usal specializes in cosmetic surgery, post bariatric surgery, body lift and microsurgical breast reconstruction. He works alongside Dr. Vadim Gritsus whose expertise is in weight loss surgery. Dr. Usal is the designated plastic surgeon for the CAP Team (Center for Abnormal Placentation) at Hackensack University Medical Center and is part of a board certified microsurgery team based in Rockland County that performs reconstruction procedures for breast cancer patients. Dr. Usal also performs microsurgical DIEP and other breast reconstructive procedures at Hackensack University Medical Center together with the microsurgical team.  He is invited to give lectures on the latest techniques in minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. He has been a guest faculty at the International Masters Course on Aging Skin (IMCAS) in Paris, France.

Dr. Usal and staff offer a variety of laser procedures and skin care services, including deep-cleansing European facials, eye and hand treatments, skin rejuvenating peels and waxing.
